Special Education Tutoring

It's more than just tutoring. It's supplementing your child's OT, PT and Speech goals. It's providing individualized instruction to your child based on their interests and skills. It's learning through movement and play while incorporating traditional American "school" elements so that they are prepared for the classroom. It's a unique partnership between parent, child and teacher to help scaffold your child's learning, wherever they may be developmentally and no matter the diagnosis.ย

General Education Tutoring

It's more than just tutoring. I believe that every child has unique interests and personalities that make up their own learning profile. Learning as a young child should be FUN! To accomplish a solid foundation for loving learning, I pair special learning games and activities with table work that your child can expect to see in the classroom.ย

Goal Tracking

It's more than just tutoring. Through targeting personalized goals and collecting data each session, I am able to keep a close eye on how your child learns. Is it visual or tactile? Through movement or memory games? Parents receive regular "goal updates" to provide insight on what we do in our sessions.ย

Since 2019, Kara has been an instrumental piece to my son's continued development and growth! She has a God-given gift of meeting children where they are and supporting them every step of the way to make progress in all areas. Kara genuinely loves helping children and it is so evident by the way my son's face lights up when he sees her. No task is too difficult for Kara and giving up is not an option! She is committed to doing everything she can to see each and every child be successful!
